Eureka is a town located in the Northwest corner of Montana and is only 5 miles from the Canadian Port of Entry at Roosville. Native Americans used to grow tobacco there and Eureka now sits in what is known as the Tobacco Valley. The small town's past is rooted in trapping, fur-trading, hunting, and logging.
A traditional "Rendezvous" and parade to celebrate the past is still held there every April. The "Rendezvous" is event not to be missed which heralds the coming of spring and brings people from everywhere. Another popular summer event is an auction held by the Amish Community that features livestock, homemade bread, pies, doughnuts and quilts and gives visitors a small glimpse in to the life of the Amish people.
